Mount Batur, also known as Kintamani volcano, has been the most favorite tourist destination in the central mountains area of Bali. With the magnificent view of its caldera, and also the beauty of Lake Batur which fills the large part of the caldera, the crater of Mount Batur is the central interest of the place which is estimated to have 13 square km size. The view is the main reason to come here. Surrounded by the captivating nature of Mount Batur, you will find plenty more reasons to linger in the crater itself, and be sure to also take in the joyous winding road along the lake shore to Toya Bungkah, Pura Ulan Danu Batur, or even the hot springs. Kintamani area actually consists of 3 main villages including Penelokan, Batur, and Kintamani. There are also some ancient villages around Batur Lake which is often known as Bali Age Village. Penelokan is the vantage point at the southernmost of the crater rim. You will be greeted by a fantastic spectacle as you come over the ridge at Penelokan and gaze down in wonder at the twin caldera of Lake Batur. - Gitgit Waterfall
Gitgit Waterfall is a beautiful tourist destination in north part of Bali. Gitgit waterfall is located in the plateau area with the height about 35 meters and it is surrounded by tropical tree and emits the constantly natural water debit during the year. Waterfall voice around the charming nature was amazing and it was the separate attraction which can be enjoyed by each visitor who comes to visit. There are some plantations protecting the rain forest around the waterfall and in this place we often met the wild monkey to get the water from this waterfall.
THE TOP BEACHES
- Sanur Beach
This beach is located at the coast of village Sanur, west of Bali. It stretches several kilometers long with golden sand and small corals. There are many shells here for the avid collectors. The waves here are milder and best for swimming. The sea here crystal clear where you can even spot sea creatures like starfish when walking at the beach. If you find a starfish please help throw it back into the sea to save them! - Geger Beach
Located from the highway heading to Nusa Dua, Geger beach is a beautiful white sand beach glistening in the sun. The sea is calmer here in comparison to Kuta or Balangan beach, though sometimes it may get a bit rough by the evening so please beware. Local seaweed farmers do their work here sometimes so if you are lucky you can enjoy watching them going about their livelihood. There are many cafes dotted along this beach making it famous for Sunday brunch or just for drinks and there is a temple at the end. - Dreamland Beach
Dreamland Bech is a beautiful beach with white sand stretch 100 meters and leaned on a steep of white stone cliff overlooking to the amazing view of Indian Ocean. This beach is very attractive for tourist including the surfers offering the elegant, tranquility and spectacular sunset view that create the romantic nuance that make it as one of the place many visited by tourist every day.
Uluwatu Beach - Blue Point Beach
This small beach hidden among the rocks, and at high tide it completely floods the water. Due to big waves, he is popular mainly among the advanced surfers, for which the infrastructure is well developed – there are many shops where you can buy or rent everything you need for surfing – from the board to the special clothing. Those travelers whose plans do not include getting up in the surf and catch waves can admire the views from the cliff. - Balangan Beach
This is well on top of the list in best beaches for Bali, located across from the greens of Uluwatu. To get there you will pass local villages with cattle grazing the fields with local people going about their daily chores. This is a small and quiet beach, best for those looking for a secret hideaway. The ocean currents are strong and the waves high, therefore not recommended for swimming. When It is low tide, it would be a perfect beach for strolling along enjoying the sun while the waves lap on your feet. - Padang-Padang Beach
Located close to the Uluwatu temple, this beautiful beach is surrounded by big rocks and overgrown plants and monkeys. You would need to get pass the narrow passage and steep steps to this hidden paradise. The beach is covered with huge rocks and small caves for exploration and when the tide is high, it is also good for swimming. Just beware of sharp corals and sea urchins. Recently after Eat, Pray, Love fame, this beach had been more crowded than usual but for now still have most of its beauty and charm - Lovina Beach
Lovina beach is one of the famous tourist places in north part of Bali which own beautiful of calm sea water, blackish chromatic sand and the sea with its dolphin.One of the favorite fascinations in Lovina is dolphin watching tour. Hundreds of dolphins can be seen in the morning time around 1 km offshore. We can see the dolphin attractions in this place like jumping. It is not fail to draw if the tourist has the time to see the sunset here. Lovina area is also supported by the number of tourism fascination which is can be reached from this location. Places of interests around Lovina are Hot Water Banjar, Wihara Budha (Buddies shrine), Gigit Waterfall and some countryside exist around the location.

- The Werdhi Budaya Art Centre - Denpasar
The Werdhi Budaya Art Centre located at Nusa Indah Street is the heart Denpasar City of Bali Island. The Werdhi Budaya Art Centre was started in 1973 and finished in 1976. The Werdhi Budaya Art Centreits one of the largest and most complete in series of cultural centres built throughout the archipelago by the Indonesian Government over the last decade. Designed by Bali's foremost architect, Ida Bagus Tugur, the vast complex is apart from its very real cultural function, a showplace for Balinese Arts and Palace Architecture at its most opulent. - Ubud

The word of Tanah Lot is consisted of two words that are Tanah word interpreted as a reef looking like gili or isle. Lot or Lod word has meaning the sea. So Tanah Lot is meaning the small island floating on the sea. The location is now called as Tanah Lot has been used at a Megalithic period as a place that looked into holy, proven from the existence of menhir. Pursuant to environmental condition, hence the structure of Tanah Lot Temple is built at irregular reef plain of its angle which is only consisted of one plain yard as Jeroan.
